Visitors understand your offer and go straight to the next step: a call, a form, WhatsApp or a booking.

Why it matters

If the website doesn't explain it, you have to.

You answer the same questions on the phone again and again, services get lost in long texts, and on mobile no one can find the contact details. That costs you time and prospects, who enquire with the next provider.

Why now?

How much a website has become a matter of course is something Bitkom measured in Germany for cafés and restaurants. Anyone who doesn't understand your offer online enquires elsewhere, and you never find out.

69 %
of respondents in Germany expect a café or restaurant to have a website.1

Your project

What we implement for your new website.

A check of your key pages

We test the agreed pages and processes against the WCAG success criteria: keyboard use, focus, contrast, headings, alternative texts, forms and error messages. We use automated tools as well as manual checks with keyboard and screen reader.

Fixes in code and content

We fix the barriers we find directly in the website, in order of their impact. Where content has to change, such as image descriptions or link texts, we prepare it for your approval.

A documented result

You receive an overview of what was checked, what was fixed and what remains open. On request, we prepare a draft accessibility statement for your website.

Working together

From the first conversation to delivery.

You decide on the basis of a concrete proposal. You know the scope and the cost before we start.

How we work together
  1. We agree which pages and processes matter most: the homepage, your service pages, the contact form or your shop checkout.

  2. You receive the results with priorities and a proposal for the fixes. We implement what we've agreed.

  3. We check the fixed pages again and document the state.

FAQ

What clients want to know first.

What do you promise, and what not?

We don't issue certificates, and an accessibility check doesn't replace legal advice. Automated tools only find part of the problems, which is why we also check manually. We don't rely on overlay plugins; we fix the website itself.

Am I affected by the EAA?

That depends on what you offer and on the size of your business. Please clarify the legal question with a legal adviser. We'll gladly take care of the technical check and the fixes.

Can you check a site you didn't build?

Yes. We first look at the technical basis and tell you which fixes are possible within the existing system.

Is this a one-off job?

The check and the fixes are a project. New content can create new barriers, so a regular follow-up check, for example within website care, makes sense.
